A stylised 'sparrow' I made specifically to remember one very special bird that we had a privilege to raise over this summer.

I believe that this lovely autumn bird ornament in chocolate brown would make a nice sentimental seasonal gift and home decoration. Double sided, so the bird can face either direction.

An extra tiny heart embellishment is optional and can be added to the bird, I made these as keepsakes from the fabric of the pink 'blanket' that our own baby sparrow used to sleep under and keep warm from the days with no feathers and until it flew away. The fabric has been washed and ironed before up-cycling and the heart is easy to remove.

The curved galvanised wire adds a subtle elegant touch to the composition, yet preserves the rustic farmhouse feel that goes so well with fall and harvest theme.
